Hemiolia Ensemble, founded in 2008 by Claire Lamquet (cellist), is an ensemble of musicians, all graduates of Europe's leading conservatoires and playing music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries with instruments and bows "historically informed". 

Based in the French Hainaut, Hemiolia Ensemble performs regularly in France and abroad and this is their third recording of Baroque music, this time dedicated to the German Arias and Sonatas of George Frederick Handel.
