This CD arose from an Australian Government-sponsored project by the HD Duo, which was a cross-cultural exchange between Mexico and Australia. Both Mexican and Australian composers are represented on the disc, all providing new pieces for the combination of saxophone and piano. Both established and emerging composers from both countries contributed.
