The recent discovery of Telemann's Fantasias for viola da gamba solo has inspired many musicians to study an perform these masterpieces. Rainer Zipperling and his friends Saskia Coolen (recorder) and the newly appointed musical director of the Netherlands Bach Society Shunske Sato (violin) decided to release a 3CD album containing all the solo Fantasias Telemann wrote for their instruments. Their solo performances are crowned with one Trio Sonata featuring all three musicians. This album available in a hand numbered 1000 copy limited edition.
